INSPIRATION

"Poetry, music, painting, dance and other arts are not frills to be indulged in if time is left over from the real business of education; they are the real business of education".

Charles Silberman-Crisis in the Classroom

"A Painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence."

Leopold Stokowski

"If a composer could say what he had to say in words he would not bother trying to say it in music."

Gustav Mahler

"I define happiness as a continuous, creative activity."

Baba Amte

"You are the music while the music lasts."

T.S.Elliot

"I know you've heard it  a thousand times before. But it's true--hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, practice. If you don't love something, then don't do it."

Ray Bradbury

"There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening
that is translated through you into action,
And because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, It will never exist through any other medium and be lost."

Martha Graham
